From business relocation to complete system upgrades, a successful IT project is underpinned by efficient project management that puts your business goals at the centre of everything.
Action focused on your business goals
When I begin a project, understanding your business goals and the challenges you face is my priority. Many of my competitors just recommend scrapping everything and starting again. I do things differently, looking at what you want to achieve now and into the future and taking into account how the IT environment is likely to change over the next five years. I’ll bear in mind the timescales you’d like to work to and the key areas you’d like to focus on, too. Only then do I make recommendations about which technology will achieve the maximum amount of value for the minimum spend.
I work in tried and tested ways designed to minimise any disruption to your business as usual activities and remove any panic around the whole process. When it comes to moving to the cloud, for example, I break down the transition into easy steps rather than shifting everything all at once — we may start by moving your emails to the cloud, followed a few weeks later by your data stores.
This measured project management approach means I can guarantee zero downtime during your moves or system updates.
